Ab de Villiers to Keep Wickets for the Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL 2021

Mike Henson the cricket director of Royal Challengers Bangalore has said that players Ab de Villiers will be a real wicket-keeping option for the franchise in the Indian Premier League 2021. Royal Challengers Bangalore have more than enough choices when it comes to wicket-keeping tasks like the addition of Finn Allen, Mohammed Azharuddeen and KS Bharat but whenever Ab de Villiers has kept wickets for the franchise, it has filled out a good stability to the team. Ab de Villiers is expected to keep for a few matches for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the upcoming IPL 2021but decline to commit a name for the wicket-keeping task for the whole season.

The former New Zealand cricket coach said that AB de Villiers will put on the wicket-keeping gloves in a not too many matches last year and he is believed to do the same this year if it sets the balance of the playing XI. Mike Hesson also said that they are glad with the fact that AB de Villiers loved wicket-keeping and he embraced it that he wanted to pursue doing it but this year's season is great because the team now have a couple of other wicket-keeping options.

Royal Challengers Bangalore training camp will begin on March 29 in advance of their season opener against Mumbai Indians. On March 28 AB de Villiers is scheduled to get there in India. Finn Allen is also expected to come to India soon after de Villiers arrival.

Mike Hesson also stated that this year's tournament will be very different than last year where they have everybody together for a long period of time where the team players had not trained or played. This time it is different because they have players who play international cricket over here and overseas and domestic cricket up until a handful of days back and they have to prepare in shortly unlikely ways.
