  • KOLKATA KNIGHT RIDERS: Andre Russell*, Anukul Roy, Harshit Rana, Lockie Ferguson (T)*, Nitish Rana, Rahmanullah Gurbaz (T)*, Rinku Singh, Shardul Thakur (T), Shreyas Iyer, Sunil Narine*, Tim Southee*, Umesh Yadav, Varun Chakaravarthy, Venkatesh Iyer have been retained.

  • LUCKNOW SUPER GIANTS: Avesh Khan, Ayush Badoni, Deepak Hooda, K. Gowtham, Karan Sharma, KL Rahul, Krunal Pandya, Kyle Mayers*, Manan Vohra, Marcus Stoinis*, Mark Wood*, Mayank Yadav, Mohsin Khan, Quinton De Kock*, Ravi Bishnoi have been retained.

  • ROYAL CHALLENGERS BANGALORE Akash Deep, Anuj Rawat, David Willey*, Dinesh Karthik, Faf Du Plessis*, Finn Allen*, Glenn Maxwell*, Harshal Patel, Josh Hazlewood*, Karn Sharma, Mahipal Lomror, Mohammed Siraj, Rajat Patidar, Shahbaz Ahamad, Siddharth Kaul, Suyash Prabhudessai, Virat Kohli, Wanindu Hasaranga* have been retained.

  • SUNRISERS HYDERABAD: Abdul Samad, Abhishek Sharma, Aiden Markram*, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Fazalhaq Farooqi*, Glenn Phillips*, Kartik Tyagi, Marco Jansen*, Rahul Tripathi, T. Natarajan, Umran Malik, Washington Sundar have been retained.

Heads up: * Specifies overseas player, and (T) specifies that player traded.


After the release of IPL 2023 Retained Players lists for each franchise in TATA IPL 2023, there were seven slots left for Chennai Super Kings, five places left for Delhi Capitals, seven slots left for Gujarat Titans, 11 spaces left for Kolkata Knight Riders, ten slots left for Lucknow Super Giants, nine slots left for Mumbai Indians, nine places left for Punjab Kings, seven slots left for Royal Challengers Bangalore, nine slots left for Rajasthan Royals, and 13 spaces left for Sunrisers Hyderabad.


All of the newly signed players and released players will be put up for auction by different teams who have slot openings.
